July 2026: Surf, Skate, Society
Filmmaker Jessa Williams transported our screen to the shoreline for an incredible surfer’s tale, MOVING MOUNTAINS, about the power of presence. We leaned into new ways of dreaming together through a collective world building game rooted in history and inspired by our future, MAROONING BODIES, led by the artist Mims. Neighbors Skate Shop owners Cleon and Tre welcomed us into their neighborhood through a visual love letter, THE MOTHER TO MY STYLE.
August 2026: Love, Peace and Spades
Love, Peace + Spades brought their signature “Talk + Play” session to life, blending stories, strategy and family gaming traditions. Our gathering began with a conversation about preserving play in our communities, followed by rounds of Spades, Bid Whist, Tunk and Dominoes. Guests of all skill levels came together to learn, play and connect, with free lessons available throughout.
