ARRAY celebrated the 10-year anniversary of QUEEN SUGAR with a special gathering at its Creative Campus in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Fans, longtime viewers and members of the QUEEN SUGAR cast and crew community came together for an afternoon of reflection and reconnection honoring the groundbreaking television series that debuted in 2016 and aired for seven seasons.

Inspired by Natalie Baszile’s acclaimed novel and created for the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) by Ava DuVernay,
QUEEN SUGAR brought the Bordelon family, the rich culture of Louisiana and the legacy of a family-owned sugarcane farm to life. The series fostered a lasting community of viewers who saw their own families, experiences and stories reflected on screen.

Together, attendees revisited memorable moments, beloved storylines and the spirit of #GimmieSugar, celebrating a series whose legacy continues to resonate long after its final episode.
