Billy Luther was exhausted on the Monday morning in mid-October when he spoke with Pasatiempo from his Southern California office about his debut feature, Frybread Face and Me.
He had just traveled back home to Los Angeles from Tucson, Arizona, where he had screened his new film at the Loft Film Festival and received the 2023 Lofty Achievement Award. He was exhausted but also elated.
