ARRAY 360 – Film Series

The 2025 edition of our signature cinema and conversation series, ARRAY 360, returned for 6 weeks from October 4 - November 8 at the ARRAY Creative Campus in Los Angeles. This year’s program explored themes of migration, resistance, gender, identity, and liberation through a diverse global lens. Highlights included Taiwan’s Oscar entry LEFT-HANDED GIRL by Tsou Shih-Ching , Nia DaCosta’s HEDDA and Kahlil Joseph’s BLKNWS: TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Honoree Gregory Nava was celebrated as an ARRAY Maestro with a marathon of his classic works. A special watch party for Guillermo del Toro's FRANKENSTEIN was added to the closing weekend. Additional programming featured EYES OF GHANA by Ben Proudfoot, PALESTINE 36 by Annemarie Jacir and an anniversary screening of PARIS IS BURNING by Jennie Livingston. The series also showcased women-directed films from around the world and a “Black Panther” triple feature spotlighting Ryan Coogler, Stanley Nelson, and Agnès Varda. All events were free and open to the community, continuing ARRAY’s mission to amplify inclusive voices in world cinema.

The 2024 edition of our signature cinema and conversation series, ARRAY 360, saluted legendary director Bill Duke with a day-long marathon of his classic work. In addition, celebrated filmmakers Patricia Cardoso and Ed Zwick presented live director commentaries of their landmark films, REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES and GLORY. All events were free at ARRAY Creative Campus in Los Angeles between August 3 – September 29, 2024.

ARRAY was honored to salute legendary actor and director Bill Duke with a day-long retrospective of his classic work and a fireside chat moderated by Ava DuVernay.

ARRAY 360, is a 6-weekend film series hosted on ARRAY’s Creative Campus that features a range of classic and contemporary films made in the US and around the world. Our inaugural 2019 season included conversations with acclaimed artists such as Michael Mann, Laurence Fishburne, and Don Cheadle to dynamic emerging voices such as Diane Paragas and Garrett Bradley as well as work from cultural icons Euzhan Palcy, Shirin Neshat and Agnes Varda.
